  St. Alphonsus School

Happy, successful students come home to St. Alphonsus School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, where your children can excel academically and live the values we hold dear.  Find out more about our academics, athletics and other extracurricular activities.

Question of the Week

For adults:  How would you describe “the weeds” which have polluted your own faith, or the faith of people whom you know?

For young adults:  The good and the bad have the same opportunity to rule our life. What are you doing (bad habits, poor choices, etc.) that need to weed out? Who can help you with that?

For children:   What are the things that keep you from being a friend of Jesus?

St. Alphonsus’ Guide Book & Directory in the Fall 2008!

Deadline for submission is OVERDUE

An Advertising Opportunity!

We have contracted Guide Book Publishing to publish a Guide Book and Directory for our congregation that will be updated and delivered directly to your homes annually.  This book will be the Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How of our Church.  The book is being provided at NO COST to St. Alphonsus.  Local bvusinesses are being solicited to advertise in the book.  If you own or manage a business and already advertise in our bulletin, we would like to give you first shot at the opportunity to advertise.  Local businesses are being solicited to advertise in the book.  If you own or manage a business and already advertise in our bulletin we would like to give you first shot at the opportunity to advertise.  Anyone else that would be interested in advertising in this publication is most welcome and can contact Darline McKillop for more information at (847) 255-7452  ext. 131.

Recent survey results by Guide Book Publishing show that 92.1% of families would rather patronize a Guide Book & Directory advertiser over a non-advertiser.  It “will pay” to advertise in our new Guide Book & Directory coming out in the fall of 2008.

Parishioners Verifying Address/Phone Number

In the bulletin in recent weeks we have asked you to verify your family name/address and phone number.  If there was no change, we will list it in the directory and no response is necessary.  If there is a change in any information or do not wish either the address/phone number published you must contact Darline McKillop 255-7452  ext. 131 as soon as possible.  Otherwise we will print the same information as last year’s book.  The Deadline for submission is OVERDUE.
