Food Pantry

Thanks to your donations, 123 families were provided with bags of food at the August 21st Food Pantry distribution. In addition to our distribution of food on that day, all families with school age children received school supplies. We would like to thank all of the parishioners that donated school supplies. We would also like to thank all of the volunteers that helped with the sorting and distribution of the school supplies. We are blessed to have so many stewards giving their time, talent and treasure to our Food Pantry families. May God bless you all!

Next weekend is our monthly Food Pantry collection weekend. Donations brought to the Masses next Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th will be included in the liturgy at those Masses. The Food Pantry donation box will be placed in the Narthex to accept your donations.

We are very low on the following supplies. Please help the Food Pantry by donating the following items:

          Boxes of cereal
          Boxes or bags of pasta
          Cans of soup
Cans of beans (refried, baked, kidney, chili, etc.)
Cans or jars of pasta sauce
          Cans of fruit
          Cans of Spaghetti O's
Cans of vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots, peas, etc.)
          Peanut butter and/or jelly
          Toilet paper

Thank you for your donations and generosity.

Note: The Garden of Eatin’ (Vegetable Garden Ministry) is in need of volunteers to help plant and maintain the vegetable garden.  This parish ministry benefits the families that come to our Food Pantry for assistance and the Wheeling Township Food Pantry.
